This is a picture of 2 "Arion Rufus" doing what slugs and snails do to make more slugs. They were about 4" long. YUCK!! I took this yesterday evening when I went out to pick lettuce. According to Wikipedia, these nasties are immigrants from Europe, and are taking over British Columbia and coastal Washington. At least the banana slugs in the Redwoods are a little cuter!
