So what do you do when the vet asks. "Do you think you could soak her feet once a day?" . After you laugh at her, you say- "sure, we'll try". Sassy, our (Liz' actually) venerable 15 yr old cat with 24+toes (6 per foot) has developed nail bed infections from not being outside and her nails getting too long. So after a week of 2 different antibiotics, she still wasn't better, so we are trying this and a new medication. Needless to say, it is not the high point of either Sassy's or my day.
Wow...that's about all I can say. Maybe "amazing" could slip out along the way. "Outrageous" comes to mind too. So, Nancy now has 80 toes! Yes, I kid you not...we counted them. 20 for her and another 60 for the new little ones that were born today during the windiest part of the week. I think more are on the way...we're going for 120 toes by morning!
Congratulations!!Does she have an extra toe on each foot? Or does she have the usual 4- that must mean 3 kittens- see you tomorrow for the whole story!

Poor little cat! Maybe she should come to Idaho...except that Miranda wouldn't give her any peace and quiet.
